Protein

Protein - how do you get it and how much do you really need?

  • you only need about 10% of your daily calories to come from protein 
    • fruit is 4-10% protein 
    • Greens like kale, spinach, romaine and other leafy greens are packed full of protein
      • further, protein from plant sources is much more easily absorbable (90% of the vitamins and minerals will be absorbed into your blood stream from raw fruits and veggies)
